On Saturday, December 9, the Thomas Wolfe Memorial, Asheville, will host Christmas at the Old Kentucky Home with special tours from 1 to 4 p.m. For more information, call (828) 253-8304 or visit their website.

The Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, Harkers Island, will host Waterfowl Weekend on December 2 and 3. This free event includes special performances and talks, and an auction, preceded by a dinner-dessert fundraiser on December 1. See their website for all the details.
