In conjunction with its exhibition, Love, Live and Work: The Roycroft Legacy (through Feb. 25), the Asheville Art Museum will hold a lecture and tour with Special Projects Curator Lynne Poirier-Wilson from 5-7 p.m. on Sat., February 17 ($20 members, $25 non-members). During the weekend of Feb. 23-25, the Cameron Art Museum, Wilmington, will mark the 142nd anniversary of the Battle of Forks Road (Civil War) with a Living History Weekend with a variety of free activities. Visit their website or call (910) 395-5999 for details.

The Charlotte premiere of Perversion of Justice, a film by Melissa Mummert, will be held on Friday, Feb. 9 at The Light Factory's Knight Gallery, $7 tickets, shown at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The Johnston County Heritage Center, Smithfield, will open its African American Music Makers of Johnston County exhibit at 10 a.m., Feb. 3, at the Center. The Bellamy Mansion Museum of History & Design Arts, Wilmington, has announced its sixth annual Building Community Lecture Series. They include: Snapshots of 1865, Dr. Chris Fonvielle (Feb. 27); Snapshot of 1898, LeRae Umfleet (March 6); Snapshot of 1966, Beverly Tetterton (March 13); and Snapshot of 2025, Dr. James Leutze (March 20).
